President Adesina welcomes the diversity of sector activities in the Asia-Africa Partnerships

In a recent interview with the Asian media CNBC, President Akinwumi A. Adesina recalled the urgency for Africa to achieve herd immunity in the near future. This includes pharmaceutical independence with local production of vaccines. He also welcomed the diversification of sectors of activity of Asia-Africa partnerships. Indeed, Asian countries investing in Africa are increasingly moving away from traditional sectors such as commodities to services and digital. The President also emphasized the importance of win-win partnerships, which include skills transfers.
