Amid a hike in cooking gas prices, Nigerian households take to biofuel cooking

As the cost-of-living soars in Nigeria, cooking gas has become unaffordable to a growing number of households. According to the Clean Cooking Alliance about 21 million Nigerian households depend on traditional biomass energy. This leads to respiratory diseases and premature deaths.
