European Commission president says EU has "strong plan" against new US tariffs

On the eve of an expected new round of sweeping tariffs announced by US president Donald Trump, president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has said that the EU "holds a lot of cards" and that the bloc had a "strong plan" against the new measures.
